LJ is the founder of First Nations Healing Practitioners, an advocacy service in Watharoung Country that supports children, young people, and families involved with child protection, out-of-home care and incarceration.
LJ has been a fierce advocate for First Nations women, children, and families for over ten years, offering culturally safe and trauma-informed advice and therapeutic care centring on lived experience, cultural connection and relationality.
LJ’s approach is grounded in anti-oppressive, intersectional values. She believes that true healing begins in relationships and connection. Relationships should be built on trust, respect, and cultural safety.
With a heart for her people and a vision for change, LJ continues to walk alongside community, holding space, amplifying voices, and supporting healing journeys grounded in culture, identity, and deep respect.
