Emeritus Professor Judy Atkinson is a Jiman (central west Queensland) and Bundjalung (northern New South Wales) woman, with Anglo-Celtic and German heritage.

Associate Professor Caroline Atkinson

Chief Executive Officer – Based in the Northern Rivers

Carlie is of Jiman – Bundjalung heritage, previously lived in Papua New Guinea, undertaking community development work with a focus on trauma, violence, loss and grief.

Bianca Stawiarski

Lead Facilitator – Based in Adelaide

Bianca Stawiarski is Badimaya woman and mother who is fiercely passionate about supporting and empowering people to heal their own disconnection through unique, culturally safe, holistic and trauma-informed services.

Antonia Burke

South Australia Director and Lead Facilitator – Based in Darwin

Antonia Burke is a Yanyuwa (Borroloola) woman who grew up on the Tiwi Islands and Darwin in the Northern Territory.

JudyKaye Nungala Knox

Lead Facilitator – Based in Tennant Creek NT

JudyKaye is a Gamilaraay/Yuwaalaraay woman from SW QLD/NW NSW border area, with family connections to the Kooma, Manandanji, and Gungarri peoples of SW QLD. Adopted by the Warumungu/Kaytetye people of the Barkly region of the NT.

Beth Wrigley

Lead Facilitator – Based on the Central NSW Coast

Beth Wrigley is a Registered Nurse holding a Masters of Indigenous Studies (Trauma & Healing) and has worked in the Health and Human Services sectors for many years.

Alison Burrell

Lead Facilitator – Based in Melbourne

Alison Burrell’s main passion and commitment is to her family. She is mum of 7 and step mum of 5. She has family connections of Wiradjuri (Dubbo, NSW) and has Anglo Celtic, Polish; Danish heritage.

Ash Dargan

Lead Facilitator – Based in Melbourne

Ash is a Larrakia artist, storyteller, adventurer and educator from Darwin in the Top End. He is one of Australia’s most recorded Didgeridoo artists and has achieved worldwide acclaim for his unique style of storytelling and live musical performance since the 90’s.


Cultural Facilitator – based in the Northern Rivers

Jarmbi is a regional custodian of the Northern Rivers on the east coast of Australia. Through his own journey of healing and deep connection with culture and spirit, Jarmbi guides people to the natural wisdom of who they are through culturally informed trauma healing, ceremony, earth connection and social activism.

Lukas Williams

Lead Facilitator – Based in the Northern Territory

Lukas holds not only the cultural knowledge that is needed for Indigenous healing to take place, but also holds a Master’s of Indigenous Health, degree of Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practices, double Diploma in Community Services/AOD and Cert IV in AOD.

Tracy Hardy

Lead Facilitator – Based in Queensland

Tracy Hardy is a Gamilaroi descendant who utilises a strengths-based, holistic and cultural lens.

Rayleen Councillor

Lead Facilitator – Based in WA

Rayleen has worked in the Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health space for many years and brings life skills and Cultural /Knowledge in ways of practicing & being in the space of healing.

Cary Haining

Lead Facilitator – Based in QLD

Cary Haining is related to Warwa and Bardi Aboriginal people of Northern Western Australia and has a deep, personal interest in contributing to the wellbeing of Aboriginal/Indigenous peoples.

Georgie Igoe

Facilitator – Based on the south coast of NSW

Georgie Igoe has a strong commitment to and passion for individual and collective healing.

Carolyn Fleming

Facilitator – Based in Brisbane

Carolyn Fleming has had over 20 years experience working in the field of Health and Human services, including 17 years within the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs sector.

Gina O’Neill

Facilitator – Based in Northern Rivers

Gina O’Neill has 20 years clinical experience supporting individuals, families and groups presenting with substance and process addictions, mental health, relationship issues and trauma-related experiences.

Danielle Cameron

Facilitator – Based in Northern Rivers

Danielle is a Yuibera woman from the Yuwi nation in Mackay. She has spent a lot of her upbringing in various locations around Australia connecting to her Elders and community.


Tod Stokes

Facilitator – Based in Adelaide

Tod is a Torres Strait Islander man with strong connections to Culture and community he understands the healing power of Culture and works in a safe confidential manner.

Carina Frew

Facilitator – Based in WA

Carina has Anglo-Scottish heritage and lives on Bindjareb Noongar country in South Western Australia. She has lived and worked in many places across Australia, including 15 years in the Northern Territory, and is a proud Mum of two.

Tanietta de Launey

Facilitator – Based in the Northern Rivers

Tanietta is a Wiradjuri woman from Mudgee NSW, and mother of four beautiful adult children who have grown up on Bundjalung country. Tanietta is passionate about the praxis of healing and education.

Jolene Walsh

Facilitator – based in the NT

Jolene Walsh is a Dak Djarait Woolaning woman who grew up on country and cattle stations across the Northern Territory and is currently based on her horse property at Noonamah, just outside of Darwin.

David Ryan

Chief Operations Officer – Based in the Northern Rivers

David was born and raised in Melbourne, completing year 12 there prior to joining the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and enjoying a 27 year career, 25 of them as a pilot in the Air Force.

Ami Peluchetti

Creative Project Manager – Based in Northern Rivers

Ami was born in North Head on Sydney Harbour and is of Italian – Irish heritage. She was raised in a small community by the ocean near Coffs Harbour.

Jess McDonald

Research Officer – Based in Melbourne

Jess McDonald grew up in the cultural melting pot of the inner Western suburbs of Melbourne and amidst diversity and disadvantage, developed the lens through which she views the world.
