Keira is an accomplished Educator, with extensive experience in working in the government system and private education sectors for over 10 years; facilitating cultural proficiency training and Aboriginal cultural-related education across a range of Government & Non-Government agencies, Private and Community Organisations.
Keira is the Owner of Koala Hub Disability Services and Gayarra-y (translated to ‘transform or revolve’ in Gamilaraay).
Specialising in providing culturally safe, trauma-informed, and holistic services & programs to mob across NSW.
Keira has recently graduated from the Post Graduate Certificate of First Peoples Community Practice at Griffith University and has successfully graduated with the Diploma of Aboriginal Studies for Professional & Community Practice at TAFE NSW.
Keira has volunteered her time and commitment to her local communities as an active member of the Mooki & Bassendean Association Inc of Tingha, a Director for Many Rivers Regional Housing Management Services, previous president of the Inverell AECG, previous board Member of the Inverell Council Chambers Aboriginal Consultative Committee, and is heavily involved in Women’s Rugby League & her 4 children’s local sporting teams in Rugby League, Basketball, Boxing and Soccer.
